Jasmine Crockett Dismisses Pam Bondi's Warning Over Anti-Elon Musk Comments: 'If You Have an Issue With Terrorism, Talk to Your Boss'

Rep. Jasmine Crockett dismissed Attorney General Pam Bondi's warning about her criticism of Elon Musk, telling Bondi to focus on President Donald Trump's pardons of January 6 rioters if she is concerned about domestic terrorism.

During an MSNBC stream, Crockett expressed her desire for Musk to be "taken down," but clarified that she was advocating for legal, peaceful activism. Then, on a Sunday Fox News appearance, Bondi accused Crockett of supporting acts of vandalism against Tesla and warned her to "tread carefully," implying legal consequences.

The conflict stems from Crockett's support of #TeslaTakedown, a protest movement calling for nonviolent demonstrations against Musk and his company, as reported by the Daily Beast. The group is organizing nationwide protests at Tesla dealerships on March 29, opposing Musk's influence on government policy and calling for Tesla owners to sell their vehicles.

Bondi claimed that recent incidents of property damage at Tesla locations constituted domestic terrorism, linking them to the protests Crockett endorsed. However, Crockett fired back on MSNBC Sunday, refuting Bondi's claims and highlighting the her perceived hypocrisy of Trump-aligned officials using the term "terrorism" selectively.

The Texas lawmaker pointed out that Trump had pardoned January 6 rioters, some of whom were convicted of violent offenses, while her calls for protest were strictly nonviolent.

"So Pam Bondi, if you have an issue with terrorism, maybe you should talk to your boss about locking back up those guys that he let out that participated in January 6," Crockett said.

Meanwhile, the planned Tesla protests are still set to take place, and Bondi has vowed to pursue legal action against acts of vandalism.
