James 'Arg' Argent has said he's too thin and needs to put on weight, after losing 13 stone, following gastric surgery.
The 34-year-old reality star, who had his operation last Spring after reaching 27 stone, is now focussed on sensibly gaining weight to achieve a size he is content with.
In an interview with The Sun, the former TOWIE cast member said: "This is the first time in my life that I like the way I look too - I don’t feel ugly anymore - I’m content and happy with my appearance.
"The only problem now is I’ve lost a little bit too much weight and I need to put on half a stone,” he laughed. “Everyone thinks it’s hilarious, we didn’t think we’d ever be in this situation but it’s one thing or another with me - that’s just me!”
Arg was told to "lose weight or die" by doctors after he reached 26st 13lB in 2020 after junk food binges during the pandemic.
He had a gastric sleeve operation last April, which cost £10,000.
He said at the time: "I don’t want to die. An op is the only way I can lose weight."
He said: “Before my big operation in April, which was the best thing I've ever done, I would substitute booze and drugs for food - but now my portion control is managed due to the gastric sleeve, I can’t turn to food anymore."
Arg has struggled with drugs and alcohol in the past-including nearly dying after suffering two drug overdoses while he was hooked on cocaine- but had managed to work through his issues and was living sober for two years.
But earlier this month, a night out ended in disaster as Arg relapsed and started drinking – prompting concerned friends to call an ambulance which attended to him at his home in Essex.
The TV personality says it took him two days to recover from his relapse – but added that he still doesn’t feel back to full health.

However, he now is focused on getting better and is attending a walk-in rehab centre six days per week.
Arg’s relapse was first reported back on February 11.
A source revealed at the time: "James has been doing so well, but the drastic change to his lifestyle has had pressures of its own and can be tough.
“Unfortunately it happened on a day when he was feeling low and an ambulance had to be called.”
The source added: “He is now focusing on surrounding himself with the right people who support him in his new healthy lifestyle."
