Love Island star Amy Hart has revealed that she's expecting her first baby with her boyfriend Sam Rason. The reality TV favourite announced the joyous news on Loose Women after previously sharing her fertility issues on the ITV chat show.
Amy, who recently celebrated her 30th birthday, was cheered and hugged by the panellists as she revealed that she's expecting with Sam after conceiving naturally. The couple have been dating since April 2021 after meeting through the dating app Bumble.
Amy, who went through a heartbreaking split with Curtis Pritchard on the ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019 which led her to quit the TV villa, had her eggs frozen from the age of 27 after undergoing a 'fertility MOT.' She told the Loose Women: "When I've been on here I've talked about fertility MOTs and Loose Women then supported me to get my fertility MOT. Then I came on here and shared the results.

"Then I froze my eggs because of that and then I came on here and talked about that. Then I met Sam and he had his first TV appearance on Loose Women. So I felt it was the only place to announce that I'm pregnant."
Smitten Amy and Sam moved in together in Hertfordshire after just two months of being together. She previously admitted she told friends after a date with Sam that she was 'going to marry' him.
She explained to the Loose Women: “It was very unexpected, we weren’t going to start trying until next year… I had my 30th completely sober - Amesfest. Stacey’s sister made me a cup so no one could see what I was drinking and everyone kept coming up to me and saying 'you don’t seem very drunk?'
And I said to my best friend 'people are beginning to ask’ and she said 'well, you’re going to have to do something then! So the Abba tribute band was playing Lay All Your Love On Me and I started crawling across the dancefloor, and nobody asked again!"
When Sam joined the ladies at the desk he said: “It was just such a shock, it was so unplanned, it just happened - disbelief really.” Amy told how she doesn’t like baby showers, so will probably have a Sip and See party instead, a more informal gathering where guests meet the new arrival.
When asked if they will find out the sex of the baby, Amy said: "No… I do surprises for everyone else and I ruin surprises that are planned for me! So this is the only surprise that I can not ruin…”
Asked whether she will still use her frozen eggs, she said: “No. I might need them in the future. It was never about not being able to get pregnant, it was more about the longevity of my egg reserve… If I don’t need them, then I’ll donate them.”
Speaking about a possible engagement Amy said: "Next year is now completely a write off. We know we want to get married in Spain, we don’t want to wait too long and all the venues go very quickly. So we’re there on holiday anyway in September and so we thought we would go and look at some potential venues."
She added that she has told her boyfriend not to propose while she’s pregnant. She explained: "It’s the biggest day of my life and I want to be able to drink champagne!... I’m a control enthusiast!”
