The Loose Women panel have announced that their studio audience will return in September for the first time since 2020. The coronavirus pandemic meant that no members of the public could join the Loose ladies live in the ITV studio throughout this time because of social distancing rules.
Panelist Coleen Nolan made the long-awaited announcement to viewers on Wednesday afternoon, saying: "It's not about me for once. It's about you, yes you at home. Over the past two and a half years it's been pretty empty in here. We've got our lovely crew, but sorry crew, as much as we love you, this studio needs filling up. And from early September we are bringing back the studio audience."
That was followed by cheers from the presenters, along with confetti dropping from the studio ceiling. The floor crew also got involved as they danced to Kool and The Gang hit Celebrate!
Host Christine Lampard commented: "It would be so lovely to see you all coming back, we want to get as many of you as possible to fill up this studio. From early September is the chance to meet all of us."
Viewers were then urged to visit itv.com/loosewomen to get their hands on free tickets as Lampard added: "Tell your friends, get all the gang together and come and join us here in London for a day out like no other.
Scots have flocked to get their hands on tickets, however fans were left fuming as the website crashed within minutes of the news breaking, taking to social media one person commented: "Looking forward to a trip to London in September, just managed to get tickets to go and watch Loose Women. #loosewomen #excited."
Another wrote: "Yay something to look forward too and have always wanted to go to London, so I am and to see Loose Women. I am going to be in the studio audience. #loosewomen #thebestwomen."
