Coronation Street fans were fuming at Toyah Battersby as she did a massive U-turn over her split with Imran Habeeb. Toyah was left broken hearted by the revelation that her fiance had cheated on her with drug addict Abi Franklin, resulting in a secret baby.
The counsellor, who has always longed to be a mum, was devastated to be told that she couldn't adopt their foster daughter Elsie on her own while going through a split. So when Imran came crawling back to ask if she would consider getting back together and raising his son Alfie as a family the answer was a firm 'no.'
Imran shared his concerns that Abi might be back on drugs and told her that he intends to fight for custody of Alfie and that he would love her to help him raise his son. But Toyah was disgusted with the idea and with his suggestion that she needed a child to be complete.

But later she was seen at the hospital where Alfie is being cared for after being born premature while deep in thought. And she dropped the bombshell that she had reconsidered Imran's proposal.
The solicitor hugged her with delight as he told he he loved her. And she told him she loved him back. Many Corrie fans couldn't believe what they were hearing and expressed their disappointment.
@sarah_0004 tweeted angrily: "Seriously, Toyah She’s such a doormat for Imran, he treats her like s***. She should have kept her self respect and kicked him out for good." And @Sprincey1968 tutted: "Toyah, Toyah, Toyah...I don't have kids but have never been in the situation where I was desperate to have them.....so sad #corrie."
@NiickBoii fumed: "What Imran and Toyah are doing is absolutely so wrong in many ways. This isn’t going to work." And @IAmSamJMartin commented: "So a few days ago Toyah couldn’t wait to shout her mouth off sending poor little Elsie back in to care but the minute a new baby is dangled under her nose, all is forgiven." And @WhoPotterVian wondered: "Wow, Toyah really will go to any lengths to get a baby, won't she?"
However other viewers noticed that Toyah, played by Georgia Taylor, looked suspicious as she fell into Imran's embrace and predict a major twist. @mishybabez_ tweeted: "I think Toyah is playing him. I dont think she will forgive Imran that easily she'll try and get custody of Alfie herself."

On Friday Abi is shocked when she discovers that Imran plans to fight her for custody of their son. She meets up with Elliot her solicitor and tells him she wants to apply for full custody of the baby.
Abi approaches Imran and reveals her intention to fight him all the way for custody Alfie. However Imran resorts to dirty tricks in order to keep his baby boy.
