A number of recall notices have been issued in Ireland in recent weeks over food safety fears.
So far this month, meat, fish, veg and salads have been taken off the shelves of stores thanks to numerous warnings.
The items are sold in stores across the country, including smaller retailers and big supermarkets like Lidl and Marks and Spencer.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland warned that people are at risk of contracting salmonella if they eat certain products, while others were found to contain metal pieces.
Irish consumers are urged not to eat the recalled items.
Here are all the product recalls currently in place:
Hao Hao Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles
A batch of Háo Háo Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles is being recalled due to the presence of the unauthorised pesticide ethylene oxide.
This pesticide is not authorised for use in foods sold in the EU.
Although the consumption of the contaminated product does not pose an acute risk to health, there may be health issues if there is continued consumption of ethylene oxide over a long period of time. Therefore, exposure to this substance needs to be minimised.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch: SG B6; best before date: 18/09/2022.
Apricot seeds
A batch of Golden Lily Dried Apricot Seeds is being recalled due to high levels of hydrocyanic acid (cyanide).
Cyanide poisoning can cause nausea, headaches, vertigo, agitation, insomnia, lethargy, nervousness, joint and muscle aches and pains and respiratory depression among others.
The implicated batches have a best before date of 28.02.2023.
Villani Cacciatore Italiano Salami
A batch of Villani Cacciatore Italiano salami is being recalled due to the presence of Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes .
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.
People infected with Salmonella typically develop symptoms between 12 and 36 hours after infection, but this can range between 6 and 72 hours.
The most common symptom is diarrhoea, which can sometimes be bloody. Diarrhoea can occasionally be severe enough to require hospital admission.
Other symptoms may include fever, headache and abdominal cramps.
The illness usually lasts 4 to 7 days. The elderly, infants, and those with impaired immune systems are more likely to have a severe illness.
Symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes infection can include mild flu-like symptoms, or gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea.
In rare cases, the infection can be more severe, causing serious complications.
Some people are more vulnerable to Listeria monocytogenes infections, including pregnant women, babies, and people with weakened immune systems, including the elderly.
The time between initial infection and first symptoms appearing is on average 3 weeks but can range between 3 and 70 days.
Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and to display a point-of-sale recall notice in stores where the affected batch was sold.
Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batch.
Marks and Spencer Products Containing Chicken
Marks & Spencer is recalling some products containing chicken due to the possible presence of Salmonella.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches.
Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches.
Green Box Limited Cendawan Enoki Mushroom
A batch of Green Box Limited Cendawan Enoki Mushroom is being recalled due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch.
Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batch from sale and to display a point-of-sale recall notice in stores where the affected batch was sold.
Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batch: Batch: 2022114640; Item Code: C007
Just Free Gluten Free Pudding
Gluten was detected in a batch of Just Free Gluten Free Black Pudding, which is not declared on the label, and therefore the batch is being recalled.
This may make the affected batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten.
As a precautionary measure, the above batch of Just Free Gluten Free White Pudding is also being recalled.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Lidl stores supplied with the implicated batches: 041-22; use by date: 20/05/2022.
Jona Red Tilapia Fish
A batch of frozen Jona Red Tilapia Fish is being recalled due to the presence of the unauthorised substances malachite green and leucomalachite green.
Malachite green is an unauthorised veterinary medicine which is not permitted in foods in the EU. This substance can be broken down to form leucomalachite green.
Malachite green was previously used in some countries to treat parasites and fungal and bacterial infections.
Although in breach of the Reference Point for Action, the fish in question does not pose an acute risk to health, but there may be an increased risk if there is continued consumption over a long period.
The affected products have the lot number VN/472/IV/169 and best before date: 17/09/2023.
