Temperatures are set to hit the high-teens next week as Ireland gets an early blast of summer-like weather.
A mixed March so far will make way for plenty of sunshine and a warm feel as more pleasant air moves across the country.
That change will be evident from today with some parts of the country likely to see 16C.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Today will be dry and mostly sunny, but becoming breezy too, in fresh and gusty southeast winds. Top temperatures of 10 to 16 degrees, warmest across inland areas.

"Staying dry tonight with a mix of cloud and clear spells, in mostly moderate southeast breezes. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees generally, but falling down to freezing locally with perhaps a touch of frost.
"Somewhat cloudier in turn tomorrow Sunday with the best of any sunny spells in the northeast and east. Overall dry, outside of a few showers, which will mainly affect the southwest and west later. Highest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees, mildest across the midlands and west, in mostly moderate southeast breezes."
But next week is when the stunning spell is set to arrive with temperatures nearing 20C as we approach the weekend.
Monday will see the mercury rise to 17C in many spots and then it's all up from there.
The forecaster added: " Current indications showing a good deal of dry and sunny weather well into next week. Very mild or even warm in sunshine, with best values across the western half of the country, as temperatures climb into the mid or even high teens."
