Intrepid Travel launches £1 deposits on holidays including Costa Rica, Peru and Japan

There are some truly incredible once-in-a-lifetime holidays to be had, from hiking the Inca Trail to seeing the Northern Lights; but the more bucket-list worthy the trip, the less budget-friendly it's likely to be.

However, adventure holiday firm Intrepid Travel is giving explorers the chance to spread the cost of their holiday - and secure a booking with a deposit of just £1.

We're talking some seriously amazing trips to the likes of Costa Rica, the USA, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Japan, Italy and Iceland to name a few. For example there are Costa Rican adventures with a chance to zipline through the rainforest, culinary tours of Japan, and even trekking through Nepal.

You can see the full list of holidays included in the £1 deposit offer on the Intrepid Travel website, but you'll need to do so by March 31, 2022, when the deal ends. (You can also find the full T&CS here).

There's a generous window of travel dates too, with the offer valid for trips departing before December 31, 2022.

There are trips ranging from £782 up to over £2,000 depending on the adventure and length of trip you pick, with prices including your accommodation, ground transport, selected meals and activities, and access to a local guide. International flights won't be included.

It's also worth noting that you'll need to be fully vaccinated against Covid if you want to join Intrepid Travel holidays.

You can find out more including the company's flexible booking policy on intrepidtravel.com/uk.

Don't be disheartened if the offer isn't quite right for you, or if you're not quite ready to set off on a big adventure just quite yet.

The good news is that there are plenty more holiday deals to be found whether you're after a short-haul break, or you're after somewhere cheap and cheerful with sunny weather for a bit of a break.
