Photos and videos captured by officials who responded to the scene of Bob Saget’s death show the hotel room where the beloved comedian was found dead in January.
The images from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, which were obtained by the Daily News, show the living area, bed, bathroom and closet inside the Ritz-Carlton Orlando room where Saget was staying.
An incident report said personal items, including Saget’s cellphone, were found “on the nightstand to the right of the bed.”
“There was no evidence of a struggle, any type of foul play, or that anyone else was in the room at any time during his stay,” the report reads.
“Mr. Saget was identified by items in his wallet, to include his California Driver License and his U.S. Passport card. Hotel staff confirmed that the room was rented under the name Robert Saget.”
A police body camera video shows officers in the hallway outside the room, before they go inside.
Saget is not pictured in any of the newly released photos or footage.
Last week, a Florida judge permanently sealed Saget’s autopsy report. His widow, Kelly Rizzo, and three daughters had asked for parts of Saget’s death investigation, including photos and recordings, to remain private, saying their release would cause “irreparable harm” to the “Full House” actor’s family.
Saget was found dead on Jan. 9 at age 65.
A local medical examiner said last month that Saget likely sustained injuries from an “unwitnessed fall.” The actor’s family said officials determined he died from head trauma.
Saget starred on all eight seasons of “Full House” as family patriarch Danny Tanner from 1987 to 1995. He stepped back into the role for the “Fuller House” spinoff series, which ran for five seasons on Netflix from 2016 to 2020.
He was also known for his stand-up comedy, and was in the middle of a tour when he died.
