For many of us looking for a tasty treat on the weekend before we do our big food shop for the week ahead, stopping off at our supermarket's cafe seems like a great idea.
But if you're looking for a top notch breakfast, which cafe should you be making a beeline for?
Birmingham Live reporter Rebecca Astill headed out to six different supermarkets to put their cafes to the test - and while one finished top of the pile, two others left her with a lot to be desired.
Rebecca dined at Morrisons, Asda, Tesco, Waitrose, M&S, and Sainsbury's and had initially planned to sample an English breakfast at each but soon found that wasn't possible, as some places didn't even serve the breakfast staple.
Instead, she picked whatever she liked the look of most, and rated the food out of 10.

Waitrose - 7/10
Rebecca sampled an egg and bacon muffin with a latte from Waitrose, and spent £6.45 on her meal.
The reporter said that the cafe only had six menu options available, but she found that this meant her food was served within five minutes so she didn't mind the limited choice.
She described the muffin as a "posh version of a McDonald's McMuffin", and said that while the egg was a "strange consistency", the food was tasty overall.
Asda - 3/10
Picking up a mini breakfast - consisting of one sausage, one rasher of bacon, one egg, one hash brown, baked beans and a tomato - from the Asda cafe, Rebecca found the general vibe of the venue was "soulless" and "ominous".
Alongside her breakfast, the reporter also bought a latte and paid £6.40 - just 5p less than she'd spent in Waitrose.
She said of the food: "The plate that arrived was a little sad, the beans were placed over the egg, the bacon was thick but not crispy, the sausage was thick and mushy, the hash brown was bland and the coffee had a metallic tang."
The only thing that saved the breakfast from total disaster was the runny yolk in Rebecca's egg.
Morrisons - 10/10
Rebecca ordered another latte from Morrisons to go with her small breakfast, which consisted of one sausage, one rasher of bacon, one egg, beans, a tomato, and two slices of toast.
With the breakfast priced at £4.49 and the coffee costing £1.69, the reporter paid £6.18 for her meal - and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
Despite the food taking a little longer to come out, everything was warm and fresh, and Rebecca described her food as "crispy and generously portioned", earning it a perfect score.
M&S - 3/10
M&S also had no option for a full English, so Rebecca instead chose the fancy-sounding smashed avocado and poached toast, which cost £6 on its own.
Paired with a latte, Rebecca paid £8.90 all together, but she found herself bitterly disappointed when her food arrived.
She said: "You would be pushing it to call the eggs I was served, poached eggs. They were boiled eggs. There was no runny yolk and they had the shape of a boiled egg with the hard shelling.
"Then, the avocado was completely covered in seeds, which had not been on the menu, so much so that you could not take a bite without their overwhelming taste taking over the whole breakfast.
"I am sorry to say I left half of the plate untouched."
Sainsbury's - 6/10
The cheapest cafe on Rebecca's list so far, Sainsbury's only charged the reporter £5.80 for a bitesize breakfast and a latte - making it almost £3 cheaper than the food from M&S.
However, the breakfast was let down by the absence of any bacon, as the bitesize breakfast only came with one sausage, a fried egg, a hash brown, beans, and toast.
Missing bacon aside, Rebecca praised the runny yolk in her egg and said her dinner was still warm when it arrived - which is always a big plus.
The reporter noted her hash brown and sausage could have been crispier, and said that while she did enjoy her breakfast, it didn't "blow her away".
Tesco - 9/10
Finally, Rebecca headed to Tesco to sample their breakfast menu, which had heaps of choice including waffles, halloumi, and chorizo - although it seemed to not offer any full English options.
The reporter chose chorizo breakfast eggs and one more latte, bringing her total to £8 and making it one of the more expensive places to visit.
Rebecca insisted the price was worth it though, as she thought her breakfast was "absolutely perfect".
She said: "The chorizo was chopped up into tiny pieces and sprinkled over fried eggs and smashed avocado on sourdough toast. Laced between those components were wild rocket, chilli flakes and lime.
"Everything was absolutely perfect, but I did have to dock one mark for the price."
Final thoughts
Rebecca's overall scores put Morrisons at the top of the pack, with Tesco only falling slightly behind due to its higher price tag - while Asda and M&S trailed behind in joint last.
The reporter said she was "still dreaming" of the eggs at Tesco, but insisted it was "no surprise" that Morrisons - who are often famed for their breakfasts - came out on top.
She added: "Overall I found a big gap in the supermarket cafes between those which made a bit more effort to put customers at ease, and those who simply saw it as a grab and go."
