A mum of two has reached out for advice after she invited her gardener to live in her home after he fell on hard times.
However, the act of kindness hasn't entirely gone as planned as she now finds herself in a tricky situation with her gardener of almost ten years.
The anonymous parent posted on Mumsnet , explaining how the gardener had turned up on the family's doorstep with all his belongings in bin bags after his partner threw him out.

She said: "His partner had thrown him out. He had nowhere to go, so we let him stay with us.
"We are not friends and have a professional relationship, but we have enough room for him and he would have slept in his car otherwise".
The gardener has now been living with the family for over a month and said he intends to start looking for somewhere to rent but has not started looking at properties yet.
But despite this, it is another problem that has really been getting on the family's nerves.
He has been getting up at 5.15am to go to the gym, which is all well and good, only for he is waking up the whole house as he does so.
The mum explains: "The problem is he likes to go to the gym at 5.15am and it wakes us all up.
"Is it unreasonable to ask him to go at a later time? We have two small kids and my husband has a very demanding job".
The post attracted a slew of comments, with the majority criticising the gardener for his early-morning antics.
"It's bizarre he came to you! Tell him he's got a week to find somewhere else. How bizarre," one user wrote.
Another added: "Quite amazing. It is your house; tell him to go late. Better still, tell him to go completely".
Other commenters accused the mum of having an affair with the man as they quizzed why he would ask for her help instead of a family member or friend.
However, the mum managed to find the humour as people joked about an affair with a hunky gardener.
She said: "Sadly, he's not a muscly 21-year-old Love Island-style contestant, otherwise I'd mind being woken up by him less!"
