A huge number of chicken products, including sandwiches and wraps, sold at Aldi, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Co-op and M&S have been recalled due to possible salmonella contamination, according to Trading Standards. It's the latest product recall update amid the salmonella chicken crisis, which has seen Pret A Manger remove all the chicken items on its menu.
The latest list of product recalls also contains an updated list of Kinder products that have also been removed from supermarket shelves over salmonella concerns. When a product is recalled for any reason, the organisation shares details on what shoppers should do if they have bought the item, as well as information on why the product is being removed.

Kinder - Surprise/Mini Eggs/Egg Hunt Kit/Schokobons (update)
Several more Kinder products are being recalled because the factory in Belgium where they were manufactured might be contaminated with salmonella. Parent company Ferrero said it is extending its recall of products, after it released a list of items to be removed from shelves. It comes after 76 cases of salmonella in the UK were linked to certain Kinder products made in the factory, with the majority of those affected being children under the age of five.
A notice from the Food Standards Agency reads: "Ferrero is extending its precautionary recall of a selection of European labelled Kinder products manufactured at the Arlon factory in Belgium, which might be contaminated with Salmonella. Investigations have found that some products, intended for the European market only and which have already been recalled by Ferrero in Europe, have been imported into the UK by UK importers not linked to Ferrero. This update does not replace earlier update 2. Both updates are valid."
The notice continues: "Ferrero is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. If you have bought the above products do not eat them. Instead, please take them back to the store where you purchased the products and request a refund."

Aldi - Eat + Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wraps
The supermarket is recalling these wraps because of the possible presence of salmonella. The exact product that are affected are the Eat + Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wrap with use-by dates May 11 2022 and May 12 2022, and the triple size Eat + Go Chicken and Bacon Caesar Wrap with use-by dates May 11 2022 and May 12 2022.
A notice from the Food Standards Agency reads: "Action taken by the company Aldi is recalling the above products. Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.

Pimlico Confectioners - Vegan Fine Hazelnut Truffles
These truffles are being recalled because they contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label, posing a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk products.
The recalled product weighs 110g, has lot number 11823512000 and a best before date of December 16 2022. A notice from the Food Standards Agency reads: "Pimlico Confectioners is recalling the above product from customers and have been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.
"If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For more information contact the business at info@pimlicoconfectioners.co.uk or 02032394088."
Liroy B.V. - GY Chongqing Instant Noodle Hot and Sour
These instant noodles are being recalled because they contain milk which is not mentioned on the label, so they pose a possible health risk to anyone anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk products.
The affected recalled product weighs 110g and has all best before dates. Cranswick Country Foods - various cooked chicken products sold by many supermarkets and cafes
Cranswick Country Foods are recalling a huge number of products containing chicken, because salmonella has been found in some of the chicken used to manufacture these products. A notice from the Food Standards Agency reads: "Cranswick Country Foods is recalling the above products. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling these products.
"These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the above products. If you have bought the above products, do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund."
The notice adds that as a precaution additional products are also being recalled whilst investigations continue. The long list affected products were sold by Aldi, Tesco, Waitrose, Amazon, Sainsbury's, Caffé Nero, Shell, Co-op, Costa, Marks & Spencer, One Stop, Starbucks.
