There are a huge number of resources in Hogwarts Legacy that you need to collect. One of the most important items for early quests is Shrivelfig fruit. Once you have access to the Room of Requirement, you can grow your own and have an unlimited supply.

Hogwarts Legacy: Where can you buy Shrivelfig Fruit?
Unfortunately, Shrivelfig fruit is not a drop that you can find anywhere in the open world. In the early game the only way that you can get it is to buy it. You can buy Shrivelfig fruit from The Magic Neep on the east-side of Hogsmeade. It’s 150 gold a piece, but if you have access to the Room of Requirement, there is a far more cost-effective way to get them.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to grow Shrivelfig Fruit?
Like any other plant, once you grow one Shrivelfig plant, you can harvest it as much as you like. In order to grow any plant you need to set up a potting table in the Room of Requirement, and then gather the things to start growing. They only grow in medium or large pots which you can pick up from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade. The seeds can be purchased from The Magic Neep.
Once you have both of these you can set them up on your potting table. You can harvest it about every 15 minutes, giving you a limitless supply of Shrivelfig fruit.
