How to build 3 perfect Masters meals for a day at Augusta that’ll cost just $27.50

The Masters food prices are, as always, legendary.

We called them the best bargain in all of sports, and that’s correct. Augusta doesn’t charge much at all for some amazing grub at the course, making the experience for patrons that much better.

The best part is: You could spend all day watching one round of the golf tournament and eat three meals without spending much at all. And if you’re going? I’m here to help you navigate all that while making the bargain even better.

I’ve put together three meals off the menu that you can get for not a lot of money. Let’s go:

Breakfast

(AP Photo/Chris Carlson)

The meal: Breakfast sandwich ($3.00), fresh mixed fruit ($2.00), blueberry muffin ($1.50), Masters blend fresh brewed coffee ($1.50)

The cost: $8

You’re going to do a lot of standing and walking. So I decided to go with a large amount of food. You don’t really need the muffin, but figure at $1.50, why not?

Lunch

Adam Cairns-Augusta Chronicle/USA TODAY Network

The meal: Pimento Cheese sandwich ($1.50), peanuts ($1.50), bottled water ($2.00), import beer ($5.00), Georgia Pecan caramel popcorn ($1.50)

 The cost: $11.50

Gotta got with the classic sandwich, plus a beer, plus dessert. Also, please hydrate.

Dinner

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Network

The meal: Egg salad sandwich ($1.50), chips ($1.50), bottled water ($2.00), fresh brewed iced tea ($2.00), mini moon pie ($1.00)

The cost: $8

I could have gone with a Bar-B-Que sandy or a Masters Club. But let’s go with the other classic Augusta National sandwich.

Which brings us to a grand total of …

$27.50 spent.
