Hotels and ticket retailers use 'demand based ticketing' which means prices rise depending on the demand at the time which has left fans paying hundreds for hotel rooms that would normally cost under £100.
The soaring prices have been listed to Booking.com and it shows the huge jump in rates on the night of Beyoncé's Renaissance show. The Holiday Inn in Keel Square normally costs an average of £85 a night, but is charging a minimum of £499 for the night of May, 23.
There are limited hotels left for the night and many of the rooms are already booked up, the ones that are left have similar prices. The Grand Hotel is charging £449 for that night and a one bed apartment in Rocker Sea Front, that normally costs £132 a night, is going for £637.
Rising demand now means there is a total of seven UK shows, with a series of four London shows, one in Cardiff, Edinburgh and the night in Sunderland on May, 23.
