A new study has revealed just how well-suited the most recognised royal couples are, based on their zodiacs. King Charles and Camilla’s marriage was written in the stars, as horoscope experts and live psychic chat group at Psychic World found they were amongst the most astrologically compatible royal couples.
Top on the list of most compatible royal couples based on their star sign is King Charles, and Camilla, Queen Consort. The experts said the relationship between a Scorpio and Cancer "is tied by destiny, only to be proven by King Charles’ dating history, which includes five other Cancer signs - Princess Diana, Lady Jane Wellesley, Bettina Lindsay, Georgiana Russel, and Amanda Knatchbull".
Psychic World said: “With two of the horoscopes most intense signs, King Charles’ passionate Scorpio Sun complements the powerful emotion and intuitiveness of the Cancer in both Camilla and Diana. Their water sign sensibilities flow in harmony, and are attracted to each other by fate. Scorpio and Cancer understand each other so well, they can have a whole conversation without a word.”
Prince William, also a Cancer, joins together unhesitatingly with Kate Middleton’s Capricorn, the experts said: “While the signs are opposing, the water and earth elements are a celestial pairing of great determination and mutual respect. Something about this astrological duo instantly tells them they need to be together. William was probably more than a little dazed when he first met confident Kate, and Kate will bring security and stability to the sensitive William, and both signs are fiercely loyal.”
While William and Kate are high on the compatibility scale, ex-girlfriend Olivia Hunt is actually the more harmonious other half, according to the experts. Prince William reportedly dated Hunt back in his first year at St Andrews and was his last fling before Kate came onto the scene.
The experts added: “Hunt's zodiac, Pisces, is William’s destined fellow water spirit, and the signs are very similar to each other and bring about a very peaceful, gentle relationship.”
While there’s no denying that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are cemented royal sweethearts, their star signs place them of lower compatibility, with the experts saying: “Leo’s are passionate and fiery, whilst Virgo is more calm and composed.

“Typically, Leos and Virgos can struggle to find common ground, as the extrovert and dominant side of the Leo can take aback the shy Virgo.
"However, Harry explains he was first drawn to Meghan as she reminded him so much of his mother, Princess Diana. Meghan has a Rising Cancer Ascendant, so Harry probably picked up on her cancerian energy and nurturing nature.”
With only a 33% compatibility score, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip’s marriage was not predetermined by astrological fate, but they shared a love that lasted seven decades: “Generally the Taurus and Gemini would be incompatible, however, the more reserved Elizabeth was smitten by Phillip’s zest for adventure. Both royals shared a Rising Capricorn, which allowed them to put on a front of power and professionalism as the heads of the family.”
The Queen, however, shared a 98% compatibility score with long-lasting friend and rumoured romance Lord Porchester, who is a Capricorn. Whether love was in the air or not, the experts said Capricorns and Tauruses are fated soulmates, and their friendship lasts a lifetime, with both signs valuing quality life and money.
The study also then went on to reveal how compatible these royal exes are, and found that Prince William, Prince Harry and King Charles all shared a higher zodiac compatibility with past lovers.
