Harry Potter stars spotted enjoying the magic of Northern Ireland's famous North Coast

There may not be broomsticks flying around or potion lessons being carried out but it's fair to say that the North Coast carries its own kind of magic.

That's why the Giant's Causeway was a fitting setting for a visit from two beloved stars of the Harry Potter film franchise, James and Oliver Phelps.

Known best for playing mischievous twins Fred and George Weasley in all eight of the movie adaptations of JK Rowling's beloved book series, the brothers shared their Northern Ireland adventure on their social media.

Taking to Instagram, both James and Oliver posted snaps of the World Heritage Site to their combined 5.5 million followers.

After proudly changing his display photo to a picture of him sitting on 'the wishing chair', Oliver posted four pictures of the duo's travels which now has over 200K likes.

The caption read: "As geology and places to visit goes Giants Causeway is must. Obviously you've got to make a stop at the wishing chair. #roadtripping #giantscauseway".

James also joined in the fun by sharing his snaps of the Causeway, with a nod to the tale of Finn McCool in his caption.

It said: "Legend has it this place was built by a giant who was going to fight another giant...

"If you ever get the chance to check this place out, it is stunning and unlike anything I've ever seen.

"Big thanks to Diane who gave us a little history lesson too. #Rahh #giantscauseway #DidYouKnow #travelling".

The twins are currently on a golfing tour of Ireland which they have affectionately called their #PhelpsIrishSwing having started off at Carton House Resort in Co Kildare before making their way up north.
