Why haven't you heard of the Harley-Davidson Music Contest before? Because it's never happened before. Is that a good thing? Maybe, but there's also a chance that this could be bloody unreal. Just hear me out.
Music is a cornerstone of the culture that surrounds Harley-Davidson, so as ridiculous as it sounds, there are probably some pretty serious musicians who ride Harleys. On the other hand, I'm sure that there'll be quite a few contestants who would've been laughed off the X-Factor.
Anyone who wants to "show off your HD style" can submit a video before March 2nd to be in with a chance to perform in front of thousands of fans at the Euro Festival. The competition is open to amateur and professional musicians who are over the age of 18 and sing/play in a group of up to four members.
Unfortunately, the competition is only open to people who live in France. However, employees of Harley-Davidson, as well as their immediate relatives, agents, and all persons having a professional connection with this promotion, cannot participate.
The winners will be decided by the public, and voting will take place during the Harley Night event held at all Harley-Davidson dealerships on March 14, 2025.
If you want to enter, all you need to do is follow this link and upload a video. Entering the competition is free, all you need is an internet connection. There are some rules and regulations to follow, but they're all quite straightforward, one being that the video can't be more than four minutes long.
Be honest and let us know what you think. Will the Harley-Davidson Music Contest shine a light on some hidden talent and is it a concept you'd like to see in the US? Or is it simply ridiculous? Let us know in the comments.
