A number of items have been removed from supermarket shelves across the country over the past week due to food safety concerns.
The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued several recalls for a specific number of batches of certain products.
Consumers have been urged to check their fridges, freezers and cupboards for the affected items and follow the issued advice on what to do next.

Retailers who stock the impacted products will have point of sale notices posted in their stores and provide shoppers with refunds for returning any affected batches.
Below are all of the current recall notices in effect for several Irish shops:
Get Fresh at Home Petits Pains
A batch of Get Fresh at Home Petits Pains is being recalled due to possible metal contamination.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch: Best before date: 07/08/2022
Lucky Me Instant Pancit Canton Noodles
A batch of Lucky Me! Instant Pancit Canton Noodles Hot Chili Flavour is being recalled due to the presence of the unauthorised pesticide ethylene oxide. This pesticide is not authorised for use in foods sold in the EU.
Although the consumption of the contaminated product does not pose an acute risk to health, there may be health issues if there is continued consumption of ethylene oxide over a long period of time. Therefore, exposure to this substance needs to be minimised.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batch: Best before date: 27/07/2022
Afroase Biteku Leaves
Some batches of Afroase Biteku Leaves are being recalled due to the presence of the pesticide chlorpyrifos-ethyl which is no longer approved for food use in the EU.
Although the consumption of the implicated batches of Afroase Biteku Leaves is unlikely to pose an immediate risk to health, continuous consumption of chlorpyrifos-ethyl over a long period of time may pose a potential risk to health. Therefore, exposure to this substance needs to be minimised.

Centra King Prawns
The below batches of Centra King Prawns are being recalled as they have been mislabelled with incorrect use-by dates.
The use-by dates stated on the labels are 16/07/2022 and 22/07/2022, however, the correct use-by dates are 16/06/2022 and 22/06/2022.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Centra stores supplied with the implicated batches.
Undeclared Mustard in Avoca Tomato Kasundi Chutney
All batches and best before dates of Avoca Cheesemonger Selection Tomato Kasundi Chutney are being recalled because they contain mustard which is not declared on the list of ingredients.
This may make the affected batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of mustard.
Undeclared Gluten in Glensallagh Glazed and Grilled American Style Cajun Shaved Ham
The below batches of Glensallagh Glazed & Grilled American Style Cajun Shaved Ham are being recalled due to the presence of gluten, which is not declared on the label.
This may make the affected batches (see table below) unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of cereals containing gluten.
Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in Lidl stores supplied with the implicated batches.
Undeclared Almond in Delikatny Orzech Laskowy Pierniki z Nadzieniem Kremowym
Almond was detected in the above batch of Delikatny Orzech Laskowy Pierniki z Nadzieniem Kremowym, which is not declared on the label.
This may make the affected batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of nuts (almonds).
