The much-loved kiosk in Grangemouth 's Zetland Park is to reopen operating under private running.
However, details about who will be running it are being kept hush for the time being, but locals are welcoming the announcement.
The news came to light after a post appeared on the Zetland Park Regeneration Facebook page.
It's hoped the facility, situated next to the Grange Burn at Abbots Road will be operating again by Easter, meaning ice-cream and slush puppies will be served very soon.
A spokesperson for Falkirk Community Trust said: "We are currently working with Falkirk Council and a preferred operator to run the kiosk at Zetland Park.
"We are unable to give details at this time but we are hopeful that it will be up and running for Easter."
