A busy west end street has become a nightmare for locals due to major road works that are expected to last until the end of the year.
Byres Road is currently undergoing improvements to create a people-focused place that enhances the economic vibrancy of shops and services and makes the area more cycle friendly.
The first phase of work - between Partick Cross to University Avenue - began in January 2023 and is expected to be completed by the summer of 2024.
However, just a few months in, local residents have said the work is preventing the uplift of their bins, restricting their ability to park near their homes, and impacting their income.

One resident of Byres Road said their bins haven't been uplifted in four weeks and was told by a council official that refuse workers couldn't 'legally' stop on the road.
She explained: "The work started around Christmas time and has been causing misery ever since. Closes, including ours, haven't had our bins collected in a month.
"We've submitted a missed collection form and complaints but so far nothing has been done. A council employee I spoke to said that legally they can't stop on the road to pick them up and that there's no plan in place to remedy the situation.
"It's disgusting outside. We've seen a few bins be individually picked up which doesn't resolve the situation. The council doesn't seem willing to offer a solution.
"The situation is only going to get worse. There doesn't seem to be a plan at all."
Residents have also seen their parking spaces slashed to make way for the works with their vehicles being uplifted without warning and, in some cases, moved over a mile away.
The lack of parking is feared to be deterring shoppers from visiting local independent businesses and stopping businesses from being able to get deliveries.
The local added: "Sainsbury's are unable to get deliveries in, they're often having to carry the stock from streets away. The shops are losing trade because customers can't park out front as normal. It's having a massive impact.
"The only good thing is that there's less traffic in the area but because of the lack of signage, there are still a lot of drivers heading down the wrong way of the one-way street."
A Council spokesman said: “The significant improvement work currently underway on Byres Road will ultimately deliver a more attractive public realm that encourages walking, wheeling and cycling in the area while supporting a vibrant local economy.
“Unfortunately, there will be a local impact during these improvements, but we are working with the contractor, residents and businesses to keep any disruption to a minimum.
“We are not aware of issues with deliveries, but if issues do occur we will liaise with any affected business and the contractor on a case by case basis to ensure deliveries take place.
“Refuse collection services have been affected in places, but waste is being removed and any missed collections will be resolved in the next 24 hours.
“We will continue to monitor this situation closely and look again at how we can ensure a continuity of service for all residents."
