A much-loved city centre restaurant shocked fans after it announced that it would be closing for good at the weekend.
Vegan and vegetarian favourite Picnic on Ingram Street in the Merchant City said it would be closing its doors for the final time on Sunday, April 30 after seven years in the city,
Posting on their official Facebook page, the Picnic team wrote: "We are very sad to announce that Sunday, April 30 will be our last day of trading.
"We’d like to thank everybody who’s supported us over the last seven years and especially our regular customers, many of whom we consider friends.
"Thanks again. Stay healthy and vegan."

And on Sunday, they added a second post: "Thank you for all the kind messages and comments in the last 24 hours. Special thanks to those of you [who] managed to come in today, very much appreciated."
Fans flocked to wish owner Michelle Morrow all the best in the future and to add how saddened they were by the loss.
One wrote: "Really so sad that you had to close. Was my favourite place when in GW. You will be very missed indeed."
While another added: "Very sorry to hear this. You will be missed deeply. Thank you for all your friendly welcomes and delicious food over the years."
