A free version of Gran Turismo 7, known as My First Gran Turismo, is set to be released sometime soon. This is as part of PlayStation's anniversary celebrations.
This will be a free trial version of the latest entry in the franchise that will be available to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users. The only thing fans know so far is that the game is coming out "this holiday."

Another development for My First Gran Turismo is that it has been rated in Taiwan, which suggests that a release date announcement is imminent. A lot of people are expecting to hear more about it during The Game Awards 2024 as the holiday season approaches.
Sony said that the free version of Gran Turismo 7 will include some of players' favorite cars, tracks, and race events. The company said that these will evoke the nostalgia and excitement of people's very first GT experience, according to PlayStation Lifestyle.
It also noted that the free trial version was specifically designed to attract a wide array of players of all skill levels to the globally acclaimed game. It plans to share full details about the new version sometime soon.
The original Gran Turismo 7 game was first released in March 2022 and is currently not part of any Black Friday sale for the PlayStation brand. However, the disc version is currently being offered at a discounted price at various retailers.
Many fans of the franchise are expecting that My First Gran Turismo will launch on or near Dec. 3, 2024, which is PlayStation's anniversary date.
A lot of players are excited to get into the free trial version, especially those who have not played any of the titles in the series for quite some time now, Push Square said.

Gran Turismo 7 launched to a strong critical reception as it returned to the franchise's roots of an amazing single-player experience. Developer Polyphony Digital has since continued to listen to player feedback in applying improvements and addressing various issues.
There have been consistent near-monthly content updates that added new races, cars, and events to the game. The most recent of which is update 1.54, which is scheduled to arrive on Nov. 21, 2024.
Another thing that fans can expect with My First Gran Turismo is that it could feature a PS5 Pro Enhanced upgrade with 8K support. This is because Gran Turismo 7 also has this particular feature, according to Game Rant.
