Fortnite had a small update today that has unleashed a ton of new Spider-Man content in-game to celebrate the launch of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
The last big patch was update 24.40 which went live last week, and introduced Fortnite Ranked to the game. Fortnite's updates are bi-weekly so today's patch wasn't a major one in terms of size. But content-wise, it's been on our radar for a while; everyone has been asking when Miles Morales will be coming to Fortnite and now he's finally here.
The Spider-Verse crossover marks the release of the upcoming sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse next week, on Friday June 2. We've known that the Fortnite Miles Morales skin has been on the way for a while, along with the return of Web Shooters, but there's a ton of other Fortnite Spider-Verse content to enjoy.
If you didn't participate in the Fortnite Web Battles, it's too late to get the free rewards, but on the plus side, if you didn't clock up 40 points to secure Spider-Ham's Mallet Pickaxe, it's now in the Item Shop. Where to find Fortnite Web Shooters
Fortnite Web Shooters are back but with a rebrand and a whole new look. Now they're called Spider-Verse Web Shooters and will come in handy for the Fortnite Week 11 Quests. Most of the Quests will rewards you with XP, but one of them will net you the Silk & Cologne (EI8HT version) Lobby Track. The track features a song from the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film, so you already know it's going to be good.
If you're after the Fortnite Web Shooter location, it's going to be a matter of scouring the map for them rather than any specific action or checklist. If you don't want to leave it to chance, you can talk to Spider-Gwen in Slappy Shores and exchange gold bars for a Web Shooter instead.
How to get Fortnite Miles Morales skin
He's here at last! And if you're wondering how to get the Fortnite Miles Morales skin, just head to the Item Shop. Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2099 are both in the Item Shop right now. The Miles Morales skin comes with the Earth 1610 alt style and Spider-Verse Portal Back Bling. Spider-Man 2099 comes with the 2099 Web Cape Back Bling.
You can also pick up the Spider-Ham's Mallet Pickaxe which with the built-in Put 'er There Emote in the Item Shop, as well as the dual-wielding 928 Axes Pickaxe.
