A crash involving several vehicles sparked a large emergency service response on one of Liverpool's busiest roads.
Pictures from the scene show fire crews, paramedics and police in attendance, close to the Aldi near the Jolly Miller on Queens Drive. Witnesses said they believed five vehicles were involved in the incident, which took place on Saturday evening.
One witness claimed to have seen fire crews cutting a driver free from one of the vehicles. It is not yet clear if any injuries were sustained by drivers involved in the crash, which took place at around 10.45pm.
