Ferne McCann's fans have defended the star and questioned the accusations of a 'vile' voice note reportedly about her pal Sam Faiers.
WhatsApp audio recordings - said to be from Ferne to a friend sent back in June - were leaked today, calling Sam a 'narcissistic b***h' after fatshaming her.
It was just one month after Sam, 31, had given birth to her third child, Edward.
Sam's mum Suzie Wells leapt to her daughter's defence and shared a section of the recording on her own page, saying the whole family was "shocked" by what they were hearing.
After the voice note circulated online, many jumped to Ferne's defence and questioned whether the notes were they seemed.
“She could be talking about anyone in showbiz,” one doubtful user asked.
Another user asked: "There is no context though?"
One person pointed out it could be 'someone with a vendetta' as there's no context with the voice notes.
"Sounds like she’s repeating what someone else has said if you ask me!" another intrigued user explained.
A Twitter user added: "That Ferne McCann voice note about Sam Faiers sounds like she's reading something, or talking about a hypothetical scenario? Context is everything!"
Sam and Ferne haven't confirmed or provided a comment on the claims that spread like wildfire online.
In the first voice note, the Instagram user released an audio recording claiming it was Ferne who said: "Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today."
The Instagram account later leaked the second recording out of a reported 39.
The user claims Ferne says about Sam in the shocking new voicenote : "She's just a narcissistic b***h, she just won't care..."
The voice note then cut to a different one, which said: "It's an exact copy. It's just so s**t on people who have worked hard because she's got a big following, it's just ridiculous. It's out of order."
Although barely any context is provided, Sam's mum Suzie did speak out about the entire situation and called it 'vile'.

"This vile voice note has been circulating social media, and now Press articles calling it a 'Fued' [sic] which it is not. This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.
"Ferne has always been a very close family friend to all of us for over the past 20 years. It appears this voice note was sent just weeks after Samantha gave birth back in May.
"Since this voice note has surfaced more have been sent - very upsetting nasty things. We are as shocked as you are! Nobody should ever speak about their friends like this ever!
"My girls are my absolute everything and I'll do anything to protect them. I don't have anything to say on the matter."
