Kickstarts hitmaker Example has hit out at a radio station for failing to play his new songs despite sell out gigs in Glasgow and beyond.
Example, who played to a capacity crowd at the 02 Academy in Glasgow, was thrilled to be back in the city to perform following lockdown restrictions.
And as he took in his crowd he told his Instagram followers: "Hi everyone. Last week we were told that my new single was great but not right for the age demographic of a certain radio station.
"You know who they are. They know who they are. They said the same thing about my last single which was brilliant. They said same thing on my single before that, which was, you guessed it, brilliant. Because they actually say 'we love the single it's brilliant.'
"I'm not telling you my opinion. It's their opinion. We love Elliot his new single is brilliant, but it's not the right age demographic.
"So, what I'm going to do, every night I'm going to video of the queue outside the gig, and they're probably still not gonna play my song, but it's great because they'll just look like d***heads, and I'll just continue having sold out shows even though they don't wanna play me.
"So here's a video from Glasgow tonight. Bye."
Example then proceeded to show his youthful and up for it crowd in Glasgow.
The show turned out to be so banging that the DJ and hitmaker, who likes to bounce around on stage despite previous leg problems, then had to ice his feet following the show.
He also invited one of his Scottish fans called Will Smith to join him for a drink on his tour bus after Will told him he'd been to 35 of his gigs.
