Emmerdale revealed details about Faith Dingle's secret past on Tuesday night, including some relatives she hadn't told anyone about.
Faith set a plan in motion to claim back what once belonged to her, with the help of her grandson Nate Robinson.
As she and Nate arrived at a mystery house, she spilled the beans that she was once married after her marriage to Shadrach Dingle.
She was at war with her stepdaughter, named Eileen, who had claimed Faith only married her dad for his money.
Confiding in Nate, she confessed this was true but that she did end up loving her ex, only for him to die.
As the episode went on, Faith amusingly shared details of her husband's demise, as she faced accusations she was the reason he was dead.
It all kicked off when Faith confirmed Eileen was now dead, and that she planned to lie her way into her husband's home to get back what she was owed.
After claiming to be a close friend of Eileen, she shocked her stepdaughter's husband with tales of them being like sisters, but becoming estranged.
He had never heard of Faith's fake name, and soon when Nate let slip her true identity he raged at her, refusing to hand her what she was looking for.
He also accused Faith of being the "wicked stepmother" who "ruined" her family's life, claiming: "Eileen despised you. You ruined her life. She lost her dad before his time because of your deviant practices."
But Faith was forced to reveal the truth about her ex partner's cause of death, revealing she wasn't actually to blame.
She said: "No, he overexerted himself in the throes of passion, it had nothing to do with me... directly."
Earlier in the episode, Faith had told Nate her husband's heart had given out during an intimate time with her.
She explained: "If he hadn’t have been so keen on a spot of afternoon delight of a weekend, I reckon he'd still be with us.
"I don't know if it was the outfit I was wearing or the outfit he was wearing, or the fact it was a very hot afternoon, but the excitement was too much. The poor soul's heart just gave up the ghost.
"Of course she blamed me and contested the will, made damn sure I didn't get a penny."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
