THE body of a woman has been found at a beauty spot in a Glasgow park.
Police discovered the 53-year-old's body at Hogganfield Loch in Hogganfield Park in the East End on Monday, February 3
Officers found the woman, who has not been named, shortly before 4pm.
Following the tragic discovery, officers have since revealed there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.45pm on Monday, February 3, 2025, the body of a 53-year-old woman was discovered at Hogganfield Loch, Glasgow.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We received a call at 3.49pm on February 3, 2025, to attend an incident at Hogganfield Loch in Hogganfield Park, Glasgow.
"Two ambulances and three special operations response teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene."
