Eldon Square is offering North East brands the chance to open a pop-up shop inside the Newcastle shopping centre this Christmas.
Independent businesses will be able to try out trading on the high street for as little as one week when the new pop-up shop opens on Eldon Way in November.
It comes as part of a new initiative between Eldon Square and retail agency Barker Proudlove which aims to give small traders the opportunity to build a physical customer base and create brand awareness.
Businesses will be able to rent the pop-up shop for an "all-inclusive price" that covers rent, utilities, business rates, service charges and social media promotion.
Naomi Osborne, acting marketing manager at Eldon Square, said: “We’re delighted to welcome The Eldon Square Pop-Up Shop to Eldon Way this November. We are always looking for new ways to ensure that Eldon Square is a place for retailers at all stages of their journeys and the Pop-Up Shop, in partnership with Barker Proudlove, is something a little bit different.
"Shoppers will have the chance to experience something that they’ve not seen in the centre before and gain exposure to an array of exciting, growing retailers, many from the local area”.
