This eerie footage has captured the untouched inside of a creepy polo club that has been abandoned since 1996.
The intriguing clip was filmed by urban explorer Dax Ward after being informed about the mysterious location by another photographer friend.
The 40-year-old, from Arkansas, USA, visited the Garden City Polo Club in Bangkok, Thailand, last month and shared these ominous images and video from his time exploring the formerly prestigious club.
The computer scientist said: “I’m continually looking for unusual abandoned places to document.
“I’ve explored a few other athletic event facilities, including a baseballs stadium in the US, but this was the first polo club I’ve ever been to, either defunct or active.
“It opened in 1993 and only operated for a few years into the mid-late 90's. I was told by the caretaker that it closed in 1996.
“A lot of capital was put into this site as it is enormous, with an opulent architectural design rarely seen in Thailand.
"The original site had over a dozen buildings aside from the main grounds, which included stables and both an indoor arena and outdoor playing field.
“The clock fountain, furniture, ornate staircases and decaying piano were the highlights for me, with the clock fountain being the most interesting & Dali-esque feature.
“They really bring out an undeniable surrealist aesthetic.”
Dax added that he could understand why ghost hunters may pick up some activity in the abandoned location, as there were some definite ‘spooky’ spots.
He said: “I have a Thai ghost-hunter friend who has spent time at the polo club with his paranormal team.
“I’m not sure if they found anything but wouldn’t be surprised if they did, as the place, although beautiful, has some spooky spots.
“Walking around the facility, it isn't hard to imagine horses and riders scurrying around during and between matches, people having drinks at the bar and spectators watching the action on the fields.
“The few short years that it was in operation must have been a sight to behold.
“Nowadays, as is obvious from the pictures, everything is decaying and being overtaken by flora and fauna.
"The 'fauna' being a pack of aggressive soi dogs, snakes and lizards, as well as the fish in a nearby canal, which seems to be a popular local spot to cast a line.
“I really enjoyed visiting this location and would put it easily in the top 5 of my favourite abandoned sites in Thailand.”
