EE are offering PlayStation 5 consoles to eligible pay monthly customers

Mobile network EE has announced it is offering a limited number of PlayStation 5 consoles to eligible pay monthly customers.

EE dropped stock of the popular consoles today (Wednesday, March 2), however they're only available while stocks last.

The next-gen console is available on Add to Plan, which spreads the cost across 11 months with no interest, but only to eligible Pay Monthly customers.

The PlayStation 5 consoles are available on a first come first served basis via My EE on the EE Website or the My EE app. As there's limited availability, EE customers are being urged to act fast.

If you register with EE, the mobile network will keep you updated on when PS5 consoles become available.

Eligible customers can find out here if they can get a PS5 on a future 12-month or longer contract.

There are two versions of the PlayStation 5 to choose from: the PS5 console at £449.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition console at £359.99.

The difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console is the inclusion of an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive in the PS5 console. The PS5 Digital Edition console doesn't come with a disc drive.

The Sony PlayStation 5 first launched in November 2020 and many shoppers have been desperately trying to get hold of one since then. It will cost you £449 for the full console, while the Digital Edition without a disc tray is priced at £359.

Expect lightning-fast loading with an ultra high speed SSD and 3D audio technology.

Major retailers like Argos and Very have had very low stock levels due to high demand, so shoppers are advised to keep their eyes peeled if you they want to snap one up.

Where to buy the Sony PlayStation 5

Both versions of the PlayStation 5 are up against the Xbox Series X (£449) and Xbox Series S (£249), which were also released in November 2020.

The Xbox Series X has an 8-Core AMD Zen 2 CPU, clocked at a 3.6GHz, 10GB of GGDR6 RAM, and an AMD GPU clocked at 4 Teraflops.

While the entry-level Xbox Series S runs games at a targeted resolution of 1440p and upscale to 4K which means they look incredibly good.
