Temperatures will peak at 9 degrees Celsius, before beginning to fall at around 6pm — eventually hitting lows of -1C overnight.

It will also be a clear night in the capital, leading into a bright and sunny morning on Saturday.

By 8am, clouds will begin to form, but at the same time temperatures will begin to rise from 0C up to a peak of 9C at 2pm.

For the majority of the morning and afternoon, there will be only intermittent sunny spells, but by 7pm skies will be clear and bright once more.

It will again be rather a chilly night, with the mercury dropping rapidly overnight to lows of 0C early on Sunday morning.

Sunday looks to be cloudier than Friday and Saturday, but also slightly milder.

BBC Weather forecasts sunny spells across most of the morning, but the city is expected to be covered by a sheet of clouds throughout the afternoon and evening.

Rising from lows of 0C, temperatures will rise throughout the morning and early afternoon to a peak of 10C at around 2pm.

Looking ahead to next week, Monday looks to be a wet one, with light rain forecast for much of the day.
