According to BBC Weather, Edinburgh residents will enjoy double figures next week and sunshine with Wednesday reaching 18 degrees and Saturday May 26 will hit 19.
Meanwhile on Tuesday May 30 there will be bright sunshine and clear skies, according to weather forecasters, and temperatures will hit a toasty 20C.
It's time to dig out the sunscreen as the days on either side are expected to be hot too, sitting at around 19C until Saturday June 3 when 20C of sunshine will hit the capital again.
For next week, however, BBC forecasts: "Tuesday will see more cloud, with a few spots of light rain in the far north and west. Largely dry elsewhere, with sunny spells in the south and the east.
"On Wednesday, an early band of cloud will push through from the north-west, bringing some rain in the west. Turning brighter later in the day. Thursday should be dry with variable cloud, but cloudier in the north-west."
