Eddie Hall has been told by powerlifter Larry Wheels that he owes him $10,000 after losing to Thor Bjornsson in his strongman grudge match.
The British star succumbed to unanimous decision defeat against Bjornsson in Dubai after being dropped twice during their six-round contest. He had previously made a $10,000 bet with American powerlifter Wheels alongside his $200,000 bet with his rival Bjornsson.
Wheels has now questioned whether he and Bjornsson will receive their money after Hall's defeat, but has demanded his bet is paid up. "I can help you hold him to that and also where is my $10,000 while we are at it," Wheels said on his YouTube channel. "Two birds with one stone, I will send him an invoice so I hope he keeps his word. If he doesn't want to do it okay but whoever's idea is irrelevant, if a deal is made a deal is a deal."
Hall was sent crashing to the canvas twice during the contest after the Icelandic star recovered from a slow start. He first dropped his opponent with a neat combination in the third stanza before also sending his rival tumbling in the final round to have the final say on the scorecards.
Two wagers were made in the high stakes build-up to the fight with Bjornsson agreeing that the winner would receive $200,000 from the loser to donate to a charity of their election after the clash. Hall will also now need to have a tattoo inked with "World’s Strongest Man" and Bjornsson's name to have any hope of a future rematch.
Bjornsson has demanded his rival sticks to his word or forget about sequel. "He wants a rematch and I am definitely willing to do a rematch if he keeps his word," Bjornsson said . "So he has to get a tattoo on his body which says me as World's Strongest Man on his body. Then he has to give me $200,000.

"Then I pick a charity which I will announce on my social media, if he keeps his word you know which I hope he does then one hundred per cent we will do it. If he really wants a rematch then he will.
"It was an agreement we made between me and Eddie, I think that giving to charity is a no-brainer he actually wanted to give all his money to charity. I have huge respect for that but I am actually not sure he will get a tattoo.
"I truly doubt that he will so in reality I don't think the rematch will ever happen because I can't see that happening. If he doesn't get a tattoo there will no be rematch and I am not going to hold him down and say 'get a tattoo'."
