EastEnders' Gray Atkins will be embroiled in a "pretty big stunt" with Whitney Dean next week on the BBC soap.
Gray actor Toby-Alexander Smith promised tense scenes ahead, as his villain character bows out - while his exit is being kept under wraps.
It has been confirmed his killer secrets come to light, as the families of his victims learn the horrifying truth after months of him escaping justice.
Now, his final week in Walford could be his most dramatic yet, as residents are out to get him and he's involved in a stunt of some sort.
One family out for revenge is the Carters as they find out Gray murdered Tina, a week on from her body being discovered in the Square.
Gray murdered Tina in December 2020 after she found out he killed his wife Chantelle, in September of that year.
Tina's body has been buried under the Argee Bhajee floorboards ever since, and was finally discovered on Friday by accident when Phil Mitchell trashed the place.
Whitney Dean and Kheerat Panesar recently figured out Gray likely killed his wife Chantelle, after uncovering the domestic abuse she faced.
So when news of Tina's death spreads, Whitney is certain Gray was behind it and tells her family Mick and Shirley.
Whitney and Gray soon have a face-off, as she is desperate to know the truth amid his plans to flee.
With her "desperate for her moment of reckoning" with the serial killer, she manages to track him down and a showdown ensues.
While their fates remain unknown, quotes released by the BBC soap tease a stunt which actor Toby has now discussed.
Speaking of the moment Gray and Whitney come face-to-face, he teased: "There are going to be some really tense moments, there is a pretty big stunt involved which we both had a lot of fun filming.
"Ultimately Whitney is fearless at this point, she has been trying to get Gray for a long time so there is massive showdown that is really exciting.
"It was very fun playing them battling out together."
EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
