EastEnders will be airing its scandalous Sharongate episode next week as one of the BBC soap's most famous affairs is exposed to the whole Square.
The slow-burning affair storyline began airing in 1992 and was watched by 25.3million gripped viewers at its peak.
Viewers watched over several years as Sharon began embroiled in a steamy romance with Phil behind her husband - and his brother - Grant's back.
It came to an explosive conclusion in October 1994 as Grant finally discovered the truth.

In the episode, Grant accidentally hears Sharon confessing to the affair on tape and ends up playing it to the rest of the people in the Queen Vic, who happen to be attending Phil's engagement party.
Grant ended up beating Phil unconscious and Sharon later left Walford and wouldn't return for another six years.

Sharon made a big comeback as the landlady of the Queen Vic after Peggy unwittingly sold the establishment to her nemesis.
Phil later managed to buy the pub and it fell into a number of hands, more recently being Mick and Linda Carter.
The final episode filmed before the pandemic showed that Sharon was back in charge, with the help of Ian Beale, after she pipped her estranged lover Phil to the post.
Actress Letitia Dean, who plays Sharon, will also be appearing on Monday's episode of Secrets From The Square with Adam Woodyatt (Ian).
The pair will sit down with host Stacey Dooley as they speak about their scenes together as teenagers and tease their big storyline in the autumn...
