A furious driver reportedly threatened to run over a traffic warden after receiving a parking ticket. The alleged incident happened on Friday evening (July 1).
The traffic warden said he was left with no option but to call the police while on duty in Hyson Green. In a post on Twitter, the warden said a member of the public threatened to "run me over" after being handed a parking ticket.
It is believed that the incident happened on Radford Road. Luckily, the police arrived on scene within a minute to calm down the situation.

The warden praised the police response, adding that there was "no need" for that scene. He added: "I have a family to go to!"
The post, tweeted by @Jonathanholmesz just before 7pm, reads: "Thankyou to the officers who attended tonight in less than 60s when a member of the public threatened to run me over because I gave him a parking ticket ! #noneed I have a family to go to!"
Some social media users replied to the post, sending their best wishes to the officer. In a tweet, @MasonTheHiker replied with: "I hope you're all okay."
@EnforcementVog also added: "Hope you are OK? Nobody should have to face violence in the workplace." while @campingwinter said: "Not good !!! Hope your OK Jonathan.....keep up the great work you do ....hyson green must be a tough patch ....respect to nottingham police".
Another user, @Colsta123, added: "I hope the Idiot gets what he deserves. Glad your OK my friend."
Nottinghamshire Police have been approached for comment.
