An unlucky dog became a comic-strip looking character after being bitten by a snake - which made the dog's head to swell to three times its size.
The poor dog's face ballooned up so much that it nearly closed both its eyes shut.
Pup owner Ms Huang was shocked when she found the state of her pet and initially she was worried they may not survive.
The dog owner rushed the animals to the vets close to her home in the city of Xinyang, in Henan Province, in central China.
Injections were immediately given to the dog to make the swelling go down.
The poor dog's face had ballooned up so much that it nearly closed both its eyes shut.
The worried Ms Huang said she felt a little more at ease after she saw the swelling had subsided on the pup's left side of the face.
She later told local media that she suspects that the dog may have been bitten by a snake during the night because there were no wasps or bees anywhere around the house.
Ms Huang later shared this footage that showcases the striking difference in the dog's appearance before and after it got bitten.
Social media users felt bad for the pup, but could not help but laugh and poke fun at how much the dog resembled the famous character Snoopy from the popular comic strip series called 'Peanuts', with its tiny body and gigantic head.
Ms Huang thanked everyone for expressing their concerns for the dog's health, as well as for making her laugh through the distressing times.
In other news, a two-year-old got her own back after a snake sank its fang into her - by biting back.
The toddler was outside playing in the back garden of the family home in the village of Kantar in the city of Bingol in the Turkish province of the same name when her screams brought neighbours running.
The neighbours found the little girl had a 50cm (20 inch) snake clamped in her mouth, together with a painful-looking bite mark on her lower lip.
