Dancing on Ice's Matt Evers calls Gemma Collins 'diva' and Denise Van Outen 'worst partner'

Dancing on Ice's Matt Evers claimed that Gemma Collins was 'such a diva' and Denise Van Outen was his worst partner in a tell all interview.

Matt, a former champ, told Vicky Pattison on 'Secrets To' podcast all about the behind the scenes antics of his partners on the show.

And he also addressed the 'fix' rumours on the show.

When Vicky asked who his worst partner was, Matt replied: "I would have to say my least favourite was Denise Van Outen because she got injured so early in the show.

"Denise is such a fun human being and she had such potential to do really well in the show."

Denise dislocated and fractured her shoulder in 2020's rehearsals and pulled out early in the show.

Matt then spoke about 'Essex diva' Gemma Collins saying: "When I danced with Gemma, that was hard for her and that was hard on me.

"There were all these stories that came out and that she was such a diva backstage and yeah she did have her moments... but she did always show up."

Speaking of the two sides of personalities on the show, he said: "There's the human, there's the persona but then they start to believe they start to believe that persona themselves and they have to believe in their craft."

And on the 'fix' rumours, Matt admitted it 'wasn't fair' three finalists - ex Strictly star Brendan Cole, Pussycat Doll Kimberley Wyatt and dancer Regan Gascoigne were pro dancers.

He said: "Is it fair that we have three professional dancers in this year’s final? Hmm… not necessarily."

"That’s a big question mark, right?

"But yeah, we’re in an interesting situation right now that the standard of the show has gotten so high."
