An "LFC-mad dad" believes his son is the first Liverpool fan to be born in the country this year.
While most people spent their New Year's eve out partying, Lewis Keenan was rushing his wife to hospital. The self-professed "biggest Liverpool fan in the world" was eagerly awaiting the birth of his second child with his wife Kate.
His son Lando Louie Keenan was born at 12.02am and Lewis claims he is the first "little red" of the new year. Now with two children, Lewis said he wants nine more to build "Liverpool's next eleven".

Speaking to the ECHO he said: "It is a great feeling to be a dad again, I'm a bit nervous for my eldest to meet Lando just to see how they are going to get on. We have had two years of concentrating on one which was hard enough but it is amazing.
"That feeling of holding your son, when they are so small and peaceful and you can just watch them. It is all brand new again and I'm excited."
Lewis is from Kirkdale and moved to York four years ago after meeting his wife Kate. Lando was born at York Hospital weighing 6 Ibs and 3 oz after a one-hour labour.
Lewis is such a fan of the Reds that his first son Luca was given the middle name "Gerrard" after his footballing hero and former Liverpool captain. However, he said his wife "would not go for that this time".
Lewis who is 27, said: "Mum and baby are doing well but she has not had much sleep. I tried to convince her to travel to Liverpool for the Leicester match on Friday so we could have a little scouser in the family but unfortunately, she was not having it.
"They have got no chance of being a blue, Luca has already got fifteen Liverpool kits and Lando already has a kit with his name on the back. I'm Liverpool-mad so there is no way it will happen.
"Lando is the first Liverpool fan born in the country you can't beat two minutes. He has to be the first little Red of the new year."
