Breaking out the champagne in clubhouse celebrations has become the norm for MLB teams as they earn postseason bids and advance through each playoff round. But the Diamondbacks bring a unique angle to their revelry: They have a pool.
Following their NLDS sweep of the Dodgers, Arizona players ran out to right-center field for a big dip in Chase Field’s oasis.
Watching grown men—even those playing a game professionally—suddenly become little kids on a summer vacation is always fun. The scene provided some great clips and images for fans to enjoy, one of which takes you in the pool with the players. It might be the most fun thing you see today.
Check out the D-Backs' postseason pool party. You can almost smell the chlorine and champagne:

Not many people pop dozens of bottles of champagne to spray co-workers, friends, and family to commemorate a special occasion. But who can’t relate to jumping, flopping, dunking and splashing in a pool to cool off or celebrate? Baseball players—they’re just like us!
Even better pool parties could be soon to come if the D-Backs defeat the Braves or Phillies in the NLCS. And what if this crew wins the World Series at their home ballpark? Chase Field may need a bigger pool.
