With the cost of living rising, many Brits are thinking about ways to cut down their spending at home - whether that be budgeting for the weekly food shop, or using less energy.
Another way in which you can save is by switching your broadband provider, and we’ve spotted a way where you can save £887 a year by making the switch to Community Fibre from Virgin Media.
Community Fibre is London’s largest and fastest 100% full fibre broadband provider, and it has just launched its lowest priced 1,000Mpbs broadband package, which is 18 times faster than the UK average and priced at just £25 per month for a 24-month contract.
To put that price into some perspective, Virgin Media's Gig1 option - which also offers speeds of around 1,000Mbps - currently costs £85 per month, meaning you’ll save £35 a month if you make the switch to Community Fibre.
Anyone signing up to 1,000Mbps speeds will be able whizz a full HD movie to their TV in under 40 seconds - that's around 13 times faster than the current UK average. It’s ideal for larger households with multiple connected devices, so the whole family can work from home, stream HD TV and join video calls without any interruption.
As well as being the fastest and most affordable, all Community Fibre broadband packages come with free installation and a free top-spec Linksys Velop Mesh router which can cost up to £160.
You can check out all the Community Fibre deals here, and they're all available from now until 21 September.
Of course, like most things in life, there is a catch.
Community Fibre is currently only available in around one million homes, which is significantly less than the 15 million properties that can get Virgin's Gig1 service - so be sure to check availability in your area beforehand.
