Coronation Street fans have predicted a bizarre affair storyline involving Tim Metcalfe and Aggie Bailey.
After tuning into Friday night's episode of the ITV soap, viewers were left wondering if the pair will end up being more than just friends.
During the hour-long instalment, Tim (Joe Duttine) and Aggie (Lorna Laidlaw) had several encounters as she confided in him about her relationship with Ed.
However, before that Aggie appeared a little jealous when she witnessed Sally blow Tim a kiss goodbye in Roy's cafe.
"Excuse me, I saw that, very lovey dovey," she teased him, as he replied: "Well it was our little chat we had yesterday, made me think the most important thing in my life is my marriage."
Later on that day, the pair bumped into each other on the street and Tim was keen to know what was on Aggie's mind.
"What's up? I bent your ear yesterday, now it's your turn to do mine," he told her.
Aggie replied: "You and Sally, you've got this spark. It's good that you're trying to get things back on track, I'm happy for you..."
"You and Ed are alright aren't you?" Tim asked, sounding concerned.
"No not really, we had a row earlier and now he's not answering his phone," she admitted, but Tim looked distracted.
"I'm sorry, am I keeping you?" she said, as he revealed: "I've just got this lunch date with Sally. You know I like to chat normally..."
"Go on get off, have a lovely rime," Aggie quickly replied, but as Tim walked off, she was seen gazing after him.
Corrie fans immediately took to Twitter to speculate what could happen in the near future.
"Hope this is not leading 2 a tim and aggy affair #Corrie," one person posted.
Another said: "Tim & Aggie. Hmmmm. #Corrie," while a third tweeted: "I think Tim’s gonna have an affair with Aggie, jus putting it out there #Corrie."
Referring to Tim and Sally trying to get their spark back, a different viewer predicted: "Tim will rediscover his libido around Aggie no doubt #Corrie."
And someone else added: "Aggie jealous of Tim and Sally, I don’t buy it. #Corrie."
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
