Coronation Street newcomer Lydia Chambers sees her full plan come into play next week on the ITV soap, as spoilers tease the moment she sets up Adam Barlow.
It's been clear from her debut in December that Lydia is no fan of Adam, while it was confirmed they had dated for six months at university years ago.
Lydia has a son, and fans are convinced Adam is the father of her child - while it's also been revealed Lydia is the person targeting him.
From gun tip-offs to terrifying death threats, and his car being vandalised, it's Lydia who is out to get him and things will only get worse.
She's desperate to tear him and his wife Sarah Platt apart for good, and next week she might just do that.
Spoilers reveal that in upcoming episodes, Lydia has set the perfect trap to stitch up Adam as being the mystery married man she is having a fling with.
Sarah and Adam soon find themselves rowing over Lydia, as Sarah reveals all about her being harassed by her mystery man.
Later in the week, she tells Sarah she spent the night with the man in question, just as Sarah answers a phone call on Adam's phone.
The call is from a hotel, with them informing her that they’ve found the ladies watch from his last visit.
Sarah confides in Lydia about this, before returning home and finding a load of damning receipts - including one for expensive lingerie, which Lydia recently showed off.
After calling the hotel and suspecting Adam is having an affair, she soon questions if Lydia is his mystery woman.
It seems Sarah has fallen for her tricks, as Lydia begins feigning tears and claims she and Adam have been having an affair.
She makes out they couldn't resist each other, leaving Sarah in shock and questioning if Adam has been cheating on her.
He then walks into the flat and sees the commotion, and is appalled when he hears what Lydia has claimed.
Protesting his innocence, he tells Sarah that Lydia is making the whole thing up - only to be shown the receipts.
But who will Sarah believe, and has Lydia's plan finally worked?
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
