Colin Jost Praises Scarlett Johansson's Parenting Skills And Family Life

Scarlett Johansson looks happy.

Colin Jost, known for his role on 'Saturday Night Live,' recently shared rare insights into his stepfather role in an interview with the New York Times. Jost expressed admiration for his wife, Scarlett Johansson, highlighting her exceptional parenting skills as one of the reasons he fell in love with her. He mentioned that he has known Johansson's daughter, Rose, since she was 2 years old, providing him with a unique opportunity to witness her as a mother.

Scarlett Johansson, 39, welcomed her daughter, Rose, in August 2014 with her then-boyfriend, Romain Dauriac. Following their separation, Johansson married Colin Jost in 2017. Jost, 42, praised Johansson's down-to-earth nature despite her celebrity status, emphasizing her ability to lead a normal life, including mundane activities like grocery shopping.

The couple tied the knot in October 2020 and later welcomed their son, Cosmo, in the following year. Johansson humorously shared on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' that Rose initially showed little interest in her new sibling, attributing it to the young girl's busy social life.

Both Johansson and Jost have been protective of their children's privacy, choosing not to share their faces on social media. However, they have offered glimpses into their children's personalities through various interviews. Jost described Cosmo as 'smart' and 'fun' during a podcast appearance, while Johansson playfully labeled Rose as 'painfully girly' on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' in 2018.
