On Wednesday she was all-smiles alongside Derby County manager and former Manchester United footballer Wayne at Home cinema in Manchester.
In the frank Amazon documentary entitled Rooney Coleen says she stood by Wayne, 36, to keep the family unit together and because they 'still love each other' after he paid other women for sex.
Coleen, who married her childhood sweetheart in 2008 and has been with him since she was 16, has opened up about how Wayne’s past infidelity scandals have pushed their relationship to breaking point.
Addressing Wayne's cheating she admits “I’ve got to live with it.”
Adrian Bevington, Club England Managing Director at the Football Association (the FA) from 2010 to 2015, described the film as 'brutally honest' and fellow United icon Rio Ferdinand told the couple 'proud of you both.'
Coleen who has four boys Kai, 12, Klay, eight, Kit, six, and Cass, three, with Wayne, said: "We’re not the lovey-dovey type anyway, we like to have a laugh together and we work well together, and we’ve got four kids.
“I know people say ‘were they just staying together to keep the family unit together?’
“That was part of it, but also we still love each other."
Coleen says the childhood sweethearts are now trying to draw a line under the incidents.
"Hopefully he’s learnt and he doesn’t get himself into any of them horrible situations again," she said.
"But it’s happened and I’ve got to live with it, and if I couldn’t cope with living with it, I would’ve ended the relationship.”
After the premiere on Wednesday Coleen spoke out on her social media to say: "I am who I am…. He is who he is …. We are what we are and that’s that!!!!
"Life is for living, life goes on, life is not perfect at all and you know what…. it’s OUR life no one else’s. God bless."
And on Saturday she thanked people for their messages of support.
She tweeted: "Really appreciate all your messages over the past couple of days. There are a lot of really good people in this world."
