The best value supermarkets for Valentine’s Day meal deals have been revealed, and the results may surprise some shoppers.
With the cost of living crisis forcing shoppers to cut back on lavish meals for Valentine’s Day, many supermarkets have been offering meal bundle options. Most meal options include a starter, main, dessert and a drink for a fixed price, saving loved up couples some cash.
Insinkerator has revealed which supermarket dine-in deals are the best value for money overall, taking into account stores such as Asda, Tesco and more.

This year's winner for the cheapest Valentine’s Day bundle is Morrisons, with a total saving of £20.45 for the ‘most expensive combination available’. Shoppers can save more than the cost of the actual meal deal, which is £15.
Out of all the supermarkets, Morrisons was one of two to offer a couple of options for sides. In second place was Asda, offering a similar dine-in option to Morrisons for the same price.
The retail giant missed out on the top spot due to their most expensive combination saving under £5 less than Morrisons for shoppers. In third place was Waitrose, priced higher at £20.
M&S and Tesco both came joint last, both offering savings of £16.75 and £7.35. Although the meal deals still offer a great saving, it’s just not quite as high as the previously mentioned supermarkets.
