Emmerdale's Charley Webb said it was "beyond scary" when her son was rushed into hospital with a mystery illness.
The 33-year-old actress says she has been looking after Ace, two, whose health "took a turn for the worse".
She updated fans about her son, who she shares with co-star Matthew Wolfenden, in an Instagram video.
She said: "Ace has been poorly since Friday being sick on and off but he’s just been really lethargic.
“And then on Saturday he took a turn for the worse we had to get him into hospital, but then today he’s turned a bit of a corner, but it’s been really scary, [we had] the ambulance out and everything.
“I think there is a sickness bug going around so just keep your eyes on that, but there’s nothing worse than when your kids are ill.
“I’ve never had one so poorly and it’s been beyond scary. The hospital and paramedics were amazing with him.
“So important to always follow your instinct. It’s taken him until day 6 to be back to normal. So happy to have my little terror back.”
Charley and Matthew got married in 2018 and have three sons - Buster, 11, Bowie, five and Ace, two.
The pair celebrated their anniversary recently and Charley and Matthew kept it real.
“Happy 4 years married. This is what our anniversary looks like. 15 years together, 3 children later.
“I’m in my pyjamas ready to read my book in bed and @matthewwolfenden55 is watching a cooking programme.
“Happy Anniversary pal, you wouldn’t have it any other way.”
Charley joined the show in 2002 when she was just a teenager and played the role of Debbie Dingle.
She recently shared how husband Matthew "hates" her obsession with clothes and shoes.
“My shoes and clothes addiction will 100% be an everlasting love,” she wrote.
“Not for Matthew though. He hates it.”
She shared items from her new wardrobe with her 556,000 followers on Instagram.
She shared a link to an UGG product and wrote: "They’re finally back in stock. They sold out last time in literally a day.
