Chance to be part of the team at top chef Marco Pierre White's new restaurant

People wanting to work in a restaurant inspired by arguably the UK’s greatest ever chef can attend a recruitment open day on Friday (May 20)

Those interested should head to The Gables Hotel in Falfield between 1pm and 6pm. They will be able to meet the team behind what will be called Marco Pierre White’s New York Italian and have a chat about roles on offer including the job of restaurant manager.

General manager, Anthony Greenidge, is looking forward to meeting those keen to become part of the team. He said: "Work is continuing at pace here at the hotel and the recruitment open day is for both front and back of house members of staff.

“As I’ve said before, the arrival of a Marco Pierre White restaurant in South Glos is great news for the area and we’re delighted to that we’re creating news jobs for local people. There is a mix of roles that will create the personality of the 104-cover restaurant and we are looking for enthusiastic, determined and dedicated staff with an excellent work ethic to complement the existing staff.”

“We’re hugely excited and the refurbishment of the space will completely capture Marco’s ethos of creating a venue where friends and family can come to enjoy drinks and food in relaxed, comfortable and unpretentious setting.”

The recruitment open day takes place at The Gables Hotel, Bristol Rd, Wotton-under-Edge, on Friday between 1pm and 6pm.
